Ready to Sell Your Watt Pottery Collection?
Selling a collection built over many years can feel overwhelming. Watt-Pottery.com helps collectors bring their pieces to market carefully, professionally, and directly to people already searching for Watt Pottery.
TELL US ABOUT YOUR COLLECTIONYou Collected It. We Handle the Selling.
Many Watt Pottery collections were assembled one piece at a time over decades. When the time comes to sell, listing, photographing, pricing, packing, shipping, and communicating with buyers can quickly become a full-time job.
That is where we can help. Watt-Pottery.com specializes specifically in Watt Pottery and is visited by collectors searching for particular patterns, molds, and hard-to-find pieces.
Our goal is not simply to dispose of a collection. We work to give each piece the opportunity to reach the collector who has been looking for it.
Why Collectors Work With Us
A specialized collection deserves more than a generic estate-sale listing or one large auction lot.
Watt Pottery Knowledge
Patterns, molds, decoration, rarity, condition, and collector demand all matter when evaluating Watt Pottery. We understand the difference between an everyday piece and one that deserves extra attention.
Collectors Already Find Us
Watt-Pottery.com is built specifically for the Watt collecting community. Collectors regularly find the website while researching, identifying, valuing, and purchasing Watt Pottery.
We Handle the Work
Once accepted, we handle photography, condition descriptions, pricing, listings, buyer communication, packing, shipping, and sales records.
How the Process Works
We keep the process straightforward and begin by simply learning what you have.
Tell Us About the Collection
Send us a general description, approximate number of pieces, your city and state, and photographs if available. A perfect inventory is not necessary to begin the conversation.
We Review the Collection
We look at the patterns, forms, overall quality, condition, location, and whether the collection is a good fit for the collectors who visit Watt-Pottery.com.
We Agree on the Details
Before the collection changes hands, we put the arrangement in writing so everyone understands how sales, payments, transportation, shipping, and the selling period will be handled.
We Prepare Each Piece for Sale
Pieces are inspected, photographed, researched, described, priced, and listed individually whenever practical.
You Receive Regular Sales Updates
Completed sales are tracked, and collection owners receive regular reports and payment according to the arrangement established before the collection is accepted.
We Would Rather Find the Right Buyer Than the Fastest Buyer
Watt Pottery is a specialized collector market. A desirable piece may find a buyer quickly, while another may wait months for the collector who has been searching for that exact pattern or mold.
We do not promise that an entire collection will sell immediately. Our approach is to market pieces carefully and work toward the best reasonable price rather than simply liquidating everything at wholesale prices.
Is Your Collection a Good Fit?
Every collection is different. Size and distance alone do not determine whether we can help.

- Established Watt Pottery collections
- Collections containing multiple patterns and forms
- Apple, Open Apple, Rooster, Starflower, Dutch Tulip and other decorated patterns

Common Questions
Do I need to create a complete inventory first?
No. A rough count and some general photographs are usually enough for the initial review. We can work through individual pieces later.
Does distance matter?
Distance does not automatically rule out a collection. The size, quality, overall makeup, and location of the collection all matter. For collections farther from Pennsylvania, we will discuss the safest and most practical way to transfer the pottery before moving forward. Depending on the collection, that may involve pickup, meeting partway, or another mutually agreed arrangement.
Do you buy collections outright?
Our primary collection service is consignment. Because collector values and selling times can vary considerably, consignment allows us to market individual pieces without requiring the collection owner to accept a wholesale liquidation price.
How quickly will my collection sell?
There is no fixed timetable. Some pieces attract buyers quickly; others may require patience. We establish a selling period before accepting the collection and review remaining pieces at the end of that period.
Who packs and ships pieces after they sell?
Watt-Pottery.com handles the normal packing and shipping of pieces sold through the collection service.
How will I know what has sold?
Sales are tracked by individual piece. Collection owners receive regular reporting showing completed sales and the corresponding payment due under their agreement.
Tell Us About Your Collection
The easiest way to begin is with a short email. Tell us approximately how many pieces you have, where you are located, and include a few photographs if possible. We will take it from there.
